The purpose for which The Ohio College Republican Federation exists is really three smaller purposes rolled up into one seamless operation.

First, we exist to advance Republican principles and candidates. This part of our mission dictates that we take the fight to all 88 counties, focusing on each and every campus in Ohio to have a presence that will actively support and donate their time to pushing Republican issues and candidates to victory at the polls. We stand at the ready to help when called upon, always seeking out these opportunities to advance the party. The second half of this part of our mission also infers upon us the responsibility to hold ourselves to the high standards of the Republican Party and to do no harm to it. This is important because it is the filter through which all we undertake must pass through. We exist to bring positive attention to our party, not to intentionally damage its image in any manner.

Secondly, we exist to build up young Republicans and provide them the resources they need. This drives home our directive to find every single Republican student in Ohio and involve them in the activism of our organization. It is also equally important for the education and edification of our members to take place. To this end, we aggressively train our membership in the fineries of grassroots activism and attempt as best as possible to build up young men and women in the value of maintaining integrity and ethical standards in all we do. It is important, too, that our members have the resources, both tangible and intangible, both mental and monetary, that are required to effectively and successfully advance our principles to our peers and the public.

Finally, we exist to take the Republican message to our peers and the public in an effective and successful manner. We do not exist to grab attention for no reason or negative reason, but rather to communicate clearly the logic and reason inherent in the Republican platform. The end goal is always to bring more Republicans into the fold and to do it in a way that will help to ensure Republican victory at the polls and in the hearts and minds of our fellow citizens. This portion of our mission also serves to underscore the need for integrity of message and integrity in message.
