Jonathon, now in his second term, was elected unanimously to serve as Chairman of the Ohio College Republican Federation in May of 2008, and has presided over the growth of the OCRF to include chapters at over 46 campuses encompassing nearly 10,000 members across Ohio. Chairman Snyder has previously served the OCRF as a Field Representative to Southwest Ohio in 2006 and served as Vice-Chairman of The Ohio State University College Republicans from 2005-2006. Jonathon became involved in College Republicans in the summer of 2004 after co-founding a grassroots organization in Crawford County, Mid-Ohio Push for Bush. The group held rallies raising support, writing pieces in the local newspapers, and going door-to-door for President George W. Bush's re-election campaign. Through this activism, he became involved with The Ohio State University College Republicans, serving as West Campus Coordinator during the Fall Quarter of 2004. Jonathon is pursuing a degree in Mass Communications, and aspires to become a nationally-syndicated radio broadcaster.



Joshua Burton is from Fairfield, Ohio and a graduate of Fairfield Senior high school. Josh is a junior at the University of Cincinnati and currently Co-Chairman of the University of Cincinnati College Republicans. Josh has experience with organizational leadership building. Josh has been an active conservative on his campus by taking part in Conservative protests, debates, and even in the class room with topical debate. He has participated in many campaigns and continues to work passionately He has volunteered on the McCain Campaign, Steve Chabot, George Zamary, and Greg Hartman. Josh is the head musician at the Word of Life Ministry Christian Center in Cincinnati, Ohio and through his Parents and faith he has learned that the best thing for any organization and person is: hard work, stewardship and leadership. With these firm principals Josh feels that there is truly a victory in the future for Republicans, if we apply these three factors. Josh believes in true conservatism by having fiscal responsibility, traditional home values, and a free America.



Currently, Emily Schmidbauer is a sophomore at The Ohio State University. While she started getting involved in politics in Michigan, since coming to Ohio Sate she has been quite active in Ohio politics. Beyond doing work for the Franklin Country GOP and the Ohio House of Representatives, she is active in Ohio State College Republicans as the current Communications Director. Emily looks forward to working with Ohio College Republicans across the state.


Ethan Baron is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is currently a sophomore at Ohio Wesleyan University, majoring in politics and government. He is currently the president of the Ohio Wesleyan University College Republicans and is active in the Delaware County Republican Party. In 2006, Ethan worked in Washington, DC for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and on the Rick Santorum Campaign. For the 2008 election cycle, he interned in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania and in Delaware, Ohio for the McCain Campaign while organizing volunteer opportunities for students at Ohio Wesleyan. Before he was elected Secretary in 2009, Ethan served as the OCRF's Technology Director. He will graduate in the spring of 2011.



Melissa became involved with Ohio University's College Republicans in the fall of 2006. Two years later in spring, 2008 she was elected president of the organization. Melissa presided during the turbulent 2008 General Election as Ohio University College Republicans volunteered on behalf of McCain's presidential bid as well as a number of local elections including Jimmy Stewart's successful campaign for State Senate. During the summer of 2008, Melissa interned in Congressman Bob Latta's District office in Defiance, Ohio.
In spring of 2009, Melissa was appointed to the Ohio College Republican Federation's Executive Board as Executive Director. Shortly thereafter, during the summer of 2009, she once again interned with Congressman Latta's office, this time in the Nation's Capital.
Melissa loves to cook and looks forward to graduating this spring.



Danelle Gagliardi is a sophomore at The Ohio State University majoring in history and minoring in psychology. In the fall of 2008, she immediately got involved in politics, beginning with College Republican grassroots efforts such as phonebanking and going door-to-door. Shortly after, she accepted an internship working for the Victory Center and was elected Secretary of Ohio State’s College Republicans. In the spring, she founded a chapter of the conservative women’s book club, Network of enlightened Women, on OSU’s campus. At the present, Danelle is interning for the Ohio Republican Party’s Coalitions and Outreach Department, working mostly with the women, sportsmen, College Republican, and veteran coalitions.
In her spare time, Danelle enjoys reading and baking or can be found outside golfing, skiing, or target shooting.



Chris is a sophomore at Ohio University in Athens and is majoring in Political Science with an emphasis on Public Administration. His freshman coursework was completed at Sinclair College in Dayton. He has been involved politics on the municipal, county, and state level. He worked for the Montgomery County Republican party during the 2008 election as well as a county commission race, a State House race and a State Senate Race. He has volunteered for McCain, Husted, Morgan, and a slew of other Conservative hopefuls. He is a member of the Ohio University College Republicans, and extremely excited to become involved with the OCRF
Other than politics Chris loves fishing and jogging.

Mike McGuire is a senior at The University of Akron, majoring in political science and double-minoring in communication. Working towards attaining a Certificate in Applied Politics from the Bliss Institute, Mike hopes to pursue his passion for politics through campaign management. Additionally, with a special interest in both new media and grassroots campaigns, he hopes to revolutionize current methods of engaging the public and promoting political activism. Mike has been active in the College Republicans since 2005, when he joined the group as a post-secondary student, and has held the positions of Political Director and Vice President of his local chapter. During the summer of his junior year, he participated in the Republican National Committee's 2008 Eisenhower Internship Program in Washington D.C. Upon the completion of his undergraduate degree in 2010, Mike intends to attend law school.
